Dwarf, mounded small tree grows 8-10’ tall and wide. Medium green leaves are deeply divided in 9-11 lobes. Good fall color red, orange, purple and yellow. Small reddish flowers appear in spring before the leaves. Prefers light shade. Zone 5-7


Acer palmatum ‘Beni Schichihenge’
Beni Schichi henge Maple
This name means red & changeful in Japanese. The leaves vary in size, shape and variegation but, the green leaves have a strong white edges with an orange-pink blush. Leaf color in fall is magenta. Small, upright, growing 6-8’ tall and 5-6 wide in 10 years. Prefers afternoon shade. Zone 5-8
